The Chester County Department of Community Development (DCD) is the entity designated by the Chester County Workforce Development Board (WDB) and the Chester County Board of Commissioners to act as the administrative entity and the fiscal agent for the operation of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs in the Chester County Local Workforce Development Area.
WIOA programs can be accessed at the PA CareerLink®-Chester County, located in the Oaklands Corporate Center.
Many WIOA services can also be accessed online at PA Job Gateway.
DCD also administers certain Department of Human Services funded activities, designed to assist welfare recipients to prepare for, secure, and retain employment. Click here for more information.
