It’s Time to Talk Turkey
Even though Thanksgiving isn’t until next month, now is the time to order your Chester County raised turkey. Many area farms sell out of stock weeks before the actual holiday. When you choose to support local family-owned farms, you are keeping more of your dollar in our regional economy and getting an exceptionally plump and flavorful bird that hasn’t been frozen for months on end. You’ll find the difference is in the flavor.
Consider ordering your turkey from one of these Chester County farms or shopping at your area farmers market:
- Canter Hill Farm (Malvern)
- The Howe Turkey Farm (Downingtown)
- Loag’s Corner Turkey Farm (Elverson)
- Snouts and Sprouts (Pottstown)
Did you know Chester County farmers raise over 67,000 turkeys each year? Most are sold to local customers, some of whom have been buying from the same farm for generations. Make choosing #ChesCoFresh part of your holiday traditions this year, too.
