Paws On the Path
The Friends of Springton Manor Farm invite you to assist with seasonally appropriate tasks such as weeding of the gardens and paths, dividing plants, planting new materials, invasives removal, and other clean-up activities. Bring your hand tools and water bottle, and be prepared to help make the butterfly garden look great!

SPECIAL NEEDS FISHING RODEO
Sponsored by the West Caln Sportsmen’s Club and Friends of Hibernia, this community event is an opportunity for special needs groups to enjoy a day of fishing. Anglers will be on hand to assist and teach the art of fishing. The pond is stocked with trout from Hibernia’s Cooperative Fish Nursery. Refreshments will be available.

YOUTH TROUT RODEO
Ages 3 - 15 may participate in the East/West Vincent Police Officers’ Associations and the Coventryville Trout Club’s fishing rodeo. The Club stocks hundreds of fish along a 1/4 mile stretch of the French Creek. Volunteers will be on hand to assist kids who do not have fishing experience. All participants are eligible for various prizes. No adult fishing is permitted during this time. Registration is handled at event.

Have one child who likes to fish and one who doesn’t? Park staff will have activities available to entertain the non-fishing kids. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, rock painting and other activities.
BACKPACKING & WILDERNESS SURVIVAL
Come attend a ranger-led presentation at the Phoenxiville Public Library. Learn how to properly prepare for an adventure into the wilderness. Some topics we will discuss include: what kind of gear to bring, how to navigate, primitive survival skills and more!

ORIENTEERING THROUGH WARWICK
Delaware Valley Orienteering Association (DVOA) leads this outdoor navigation sport that uses a map and compass to look for checkpoints along a mapped course. Beginners should allow 20 minutes for instructions and 45-60 minutes to walk the course. Courses for different levels are available. Groups can enjoy a course with one map.

HIBERNIA SAFETY DAY
Come interact with park rangers, police officers, firefighters and other volunteers from the local community. See their patrol vehicles and gear. Say hello to Smokey Bear and learn about fire prevention. Learn more about water safety, bike safety and car seat regulations.

VICTORIAN ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Join the Friends of Springton for their 4th annual Ice Cream Social. This family fun event includes games, crafts and the best ice cream available on the farm! Enjoy a leisurely afternoon the way life on the farm used to be. Donations collected will directly benefit Springton Manor Farm. Please park in the first parking lot on the right.
